Renowned Nigerian talent manager Teebillz sparked discussions around the 2026 Grammys, pointing out how Nigerians dominated LA’s economy during the event weekend despite not taking home any trophies.
He detailed how Nigerian attendees energized the city’s luxury sector—booking premium hotels, dining at upscale restaurants, securing private jet parking, hiring elite chauffeurs, commissioning top stylists, and indulging in high-end shopping sprees.
Teebillz clarified that Grammy decisions reflect insider industry votes rather than public popularity, stating: “A Grammy isn’t crowd-sourced—it’s awarded when a select group deems a work exceptional.”
While supporting celebrations, he also acknowledged that constructive criticism has its place, urging respectful dialogue between both perspectives.
