Nigerian rap sensation Zlatan Ibile has debunked rumors alleging he refused to marry Davita Lamai, the mother of his two children, calling the claims entirely fabricated.

A viral post on X (formerly Twitter) by user @BoutMoney falsely asserted that Zlatan had vowed never to wed Lamai, leaving her heartbroken despite their shared parenthood.

The tweet read, “Zlatan’s wife (Davita Lamai) in tears as Zlatan Ibile declares he’ll never marry her despite their two kids.

‘Why would he say this?’”

Zlatan swiftly dismissed the allegation, branding it as “absolute nonsense” and criticizing the spread of misinformation.

In a fiery response, he condemned those who believe unverified gossip, warning that spreading falsehoods online carries consequences.

His tweet stated, “I rarely address foolishness, but if you’re still dumb enough to fall for fake news in 2026, you shouldn’t own a smartphone.
