In a viral social media response, Mr Real alleged that D’banj was merely promoting the CREAM platform while neglecting to fulfill a promised N20 million ambassadorial agreement.

Nigerian hip-hop artist Okafor Victor, popularly called Mr Real, has retracted his previous statements regarding D’banj’s CREAM initiative.

This follows D’banj’s recent claim on The Micon Podcast in late 2025, where he valued his Creative Reality Entertainment Art & Music platform (CREAM) at an impressive $3 billion.

Initially, Mr Real criticized D’banj, suggesting the platform was exaggerated and alleging non-payment for his ambassadorial role.

However, in a surprising reversal, Mr Real posted an apology video on Instagram, expressing regret for his earlier remarks.

He stated, “This is an open apology to my mentor D’banj. I misjudged the situation regarding CREAM and deeply regret my public outburst. D’banj has been instrumental in my journey, and I sincerely apologize for any disrespect. I retract all previous comments and commit to resolving this privately.”

Reports indicate the apology followed legal action initiated by D’banj’s legal team against the rapper.
