In a fiery social media outburst, Mavin Records signee Crayon has ignited rumors of an imminent exit from the label after launching scathing criticisms at its founders on platform X.

Speculation is mounting over the future of Nigerian singer Charles Chibueze Chukwu, known professionally as Crayon, following a dramatic public tirade aimed at Mavin Records chief Don Jazzy.

The artist unleashed a series of posts targeting the label’s executive leadership, including sharp words for Mavin’s Chief Operating Officer, Tega Oghenejobo.

His first post took a provocative jab: “Don Jazzy na my boy!!!!!! Una dey maddddd!!?? Shayennnnn sharayyyyyy333,” followed by a more severe accusation directed at Tega: “Tega highest criminal!!!!!!!!!”

In a deeply personal claim, Crayon alleged the loss of his mother was tied to the label’s actions, though he offered no further details on the matter.

Having joined Blowtime Entertainment, an affiliate of Mavin Records, in May 2019, the singer concluded his posts with a threat: “Mavin is going down!!!!!!”.

Amidst the controversy, it is still uncertain if his X account was hacked, especially as he continued posting normally on Instagram without any mention of a security breach.

On his Instagram, Crayon further fueled exit rumors by promoting what appears to be his new independent venture, Olodum Entertainment, complete with a new dedicated booking email.
