When quizzed about Nigerian legends Taye Taiwo and Wilson Oruma—former Marseille icons—Nwaneri didn’t hesitate to affirm his heritage.

Despite representing England at youth levels, the 19-year-old remains uncapped by the senior squad, leaving the door open for Nigeria.
