Popular Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has accused Lagos law enforcement officers of assaulting her during a humanitarian effort to provide free meals to the city’s homeless population.

In a distressing Instagram post, the actress recounted how officials, suspected to be from the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) brigade, abruptly halted her charity initiative.

Sarah claimed the officers not only confiscated her cooking gear and ingredients but also subjected her to intimidation, leaving her visibly traumatized.

A video shared by the actress displayed her bruised hand, evidence of what she called an unjustified altercation.

Her caption read, “My spirit is crushed. While preparing meals for Lagos’ forgotten souls today, armed men stormed in, seized my supplies, and left me wounded—simply for sharing compassion through food.”

“This wasn’t a business venture—just pure kindness,” she clarified, stressing her non-commercial motives.

Martins urged authorities to hold the officers accountable, reiterating her commitment to uplifting the less fortunate despite the ordeal.
