Nollywood star Victoria Akanke Ajibola, widely recognized as Omo Local, recently opened up about the shocking betrayal that led to the collapse of her marriage. The actress revealed how her closest friend and her then-husband conceived children simultaneously.
During a candid conversation on Oyinmomo TV, Omo Local shared painful details of her past, marking the first time she publicly addressed the reasons behind her divorce.
The actress disclosed that while she was five months pregnant, she discovered her best friend was three months pregnant—with her husband’s child. The revelation left her devastated.
Recalling the emotional turmoil, Omo Local admitted the pain drove her to a dark place. “The betrayal was unbearable. I was so overwhelmed by shame that I attempted to take my own life,” she confessed.
When questioned about her former friend’s current situation, she responded, “I have no idea where she is now. She might still be with my ex-husband—they went on to have three more children after I walked away.”
