Nollywood star Doris Ogala has publicly apologized to comedian Akpororo after her heated remarks threatening to expose private footage of him.
In a candid Instagram post, the actress admitted her words were fueled by anger and sought to clarify any misunderstandings stemming from her outburst.
The conflict erupted when Akpororo stepped into the public spat between Doris and pastor Chris Okafor, urging her to handle the matter privately rather than airing grievances online.
The comedian suggested that Okafor’s status as a clergyman made him an easy target and cautioned that excessive social media posts might paint Doris in a negative light.
Doris fired back, asserting that Akpororo lacked full context of her situation and had no authority to dictate how she should respond. She defended her decision to speak out publicly as a necessary safety measure.
The actress went further, implying Akpororo’s intervention was motivated by personal favors from Okafor, and made veiled threats about revealing past incidents involving women.
Akpororo countered by daring her to release the alleged video and firmly denied any misconduct.
In her retraction, Doris expressed sincere remorse: “I apologize to Akpororo. My words were spoken in anger. If they caused any confusion, I ask for your forgiveness.”
