Nathaniel Bassey Ministry

Breaking new ground in gospel outreach, worship leader Nathaniel Bassey has announced a historic “Prison Edition” of his globally celebrated Hallelujah Challenge.

This transformative encounter will unfold on August 27, 2025, within the walls of Lagos’ Kirikiri Medium Security Prison, bringing divine hope to incarcerated souls.

Through an emotional Instagram post, the vocal minister shared that fulfilling this mission represents the fulfillment of his birthday vision – to bring spiritual emancipation through powerful praise gatherings.

The groundbreaking program will feature electrifying worship sessions, compassionate food distribution, and life-changing educational scholarships for select inmates.

While logistical constraints may prevent live streaming, Bassey urges supporters worldwide to intercede spiritually as the team ministers behind prison walls.

“We’re believing for miraculous breakthroughs – chains of bondage breaking and multitudes surrendering to Christ,” Bassey declared prophetically.

Following this special edition, the regular Hallelujah Challenge crusade will recommence in October 2025.

In his own words: “On August 27, I’ll be standing shoulder-to-shoulder with my brothers at Kirikiri for an extraordinary worship encounter unlike any other.

“This birthday, my deepest desire is to bring heaven’s sound into that place. Together we’ll lift holy hands, share fellowship meals, and unlock destinies through education.

“Though cameras may not capture it all, your prayers will amplify our impact. Expect supernatural deliverance and unprecedented salvation! And stay tuned – October’s global gathering is coming!”
