Renowned Nollywood star Nancy Isime has shared her thoughts on marriage, highlighting that integrity and personality outweigh financial status when selecting a life partner.

Speaking openly on a recent interview with media figure Morayo Afolabi-Brown, Isime stressed that a kind-hearted nature is essential in any man she considers for marriage.

The actress explained she wouldn’t hesitate to wed someone with a compassionate heart, even if they lack wealth, as material shortcomings can be addressed over time.

Isime acknowledged her readiness for marriage, noting she is now in her mid-thirties.

“Marriage is definitely on my mind at this stage—I’m 34, after all. Sure, men may admire me, but I know what I want in a spouse. Kindness comes first for me—it’s what truly attracts me.

“Anyone who wants to be part of my life, much less marry me, must have a good heart. And I don’t just mean surface-level niceness—real, deep kindness. With that foundation, everything else can evolve,” she emphasized.
