Nollywood star Nancy Iheme has shared her candid thoughts on the recent marital challenges faced by actress Regina Daniels and her much older husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
While not naming names, she urged young women to think carefully before entering relationships with significantly older men, emphasizing the need for strategic planning.
She stressed that many older men “possess a lifetime of experience that makes them cunning.”
“Marrying an older man, especially a polygamist, requires foresight. You can’t risk your youth only to settle for leftovers,” she stated.
Nancy cautioned against viewing marriage as an escape from financial struggles, noting that some older partners use money as a tool for control.
She described such unions as “not for the weak,” encouraging women to value their well-being and exit unfulfilling relationships.
“Your happiness is non-negotiable. If your marriage drains you, leave. I’ve walked that path—freedom is worth it,” she concluded.
