Renowned Nollywood icon Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has announced that all proceeds from her latest cinematic project, Mother’s Love, will be donated to Slum2School Africa, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering underprivileged children.
The actress shared the philanthropic decision in an emotional video, breaking down the film’s box office success and the subsequent charitable contribution.
Before industry expenses, the movie amassed an impressive N103 million in ticket sales nationwide.
After accounting for theater shares, marketing costs, distribution fees, and statutory taxes, the production’s net earnings amounted to approximately N22 million.
Jalade-Ekeinde confirmed that Red Hot Concepts fulfilled its promise by transferring the full sum to Slum2School Africa without deductions.
The transaction was completed on July 7, 2026, with the distribution company directly remitting the funds to the charity.
