Nollywood star Etinosa Idemudia has brushed off negative reactions to her recent Brazilian butt lift and liposurgery procedures, describing critics as “uninformed and envious.”

The actress made headlines after revealing her cosmetic transformations, sparking a mix of admiration and controversy online.

Speaking candidly in an interview with TheCable, Etinosa dismissed detractors, labeling them as hypocrites who secretly wish for similar enhancements.

“The reactions have been split – some applaud my confidence, others condemn my choices,” she remarked. “I ignore the negativity from those stuck in outdated mindsets. Cosmetic surgery is no different from technological progress – there will always be sceptics clinging to ignorance.”

The actress drew parallels between cosmetic procedures and past health misinformation campaigns, noting, “Remember when people spread wild theories during the Ebola outbreak? Body enhancement faces similar resistance. Those criticizing haven’t done their research, or worse – they’re salty because they lack the means.”

Shutting down claims about social media-fueled insecurities, Etinosa stated, “Everyone has personal battles – this isn’t about Instagram pressure. I struggled with body confidence long before fame. Now that I can afford improvements, why shouldn’t I? My critics wear wigs and artificial lashes yet lecture me about surgery.”

The screen siren concluded with a bold promise, “This is just the beginning. I’ll keep refining my appearance, and no amount of keyboard outrage will change that.”
