Renowned Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington recently opened up about a harrowing near-death experience that left her profoundly grateful for divine intervention.

The award-winning star shared that she faced a life-or-death crisis during a family trip to the United Kingdom with her husband, Banky W, and their children.

Taking to Instagram, Adesua recounted the traumatic ordeal, revealing she underwent emergency surgery after a sudden health complication. She described the incident as both terrifying and life-changing.

“June could have been my last month on earth,” she confessed. “The pain was unbearable, leading to an unplanned surgery—yet the operation was the easiest part of the nightmare.”

The actress explained that the medical emergency struck while she was abroad for professional engagements.

She emphasized that her survival was nothing short of miraculous, with every moment aligning perfectly to ensure her safety.

“A single misstep in timing or care could have ended differently. Reflecting on it still sends chills down my spine,” she admitted.

The Sugar Rush star revealed the experience strengthened her spiritual beliefs and deepened her appreciation for life.

“After what I went through, no one can convince me God doesn’t exist,” she affirmed.

She encouraged her fans to embrace kindness and gratitude in their daily lives.

“Let’s choose compassion—love fiercely, forgive freely, and cherish every breath. Life is too precious to waste,” she urged.
