Renowned Nigerian rapper and music producer JJC Skillz has sparked controversy with his explosive allegations about his strained relationship with former Mo’Hits members.
During his appearance on the Echo podcast, JJC claimed that Don Jazzy, Dbanj, Ayo, and DJ Abbas secretly plotted against him while he was under the impression they would help him break into the Nigerian industry.
Recalling their early days, he explained that Cass introduced him to Don Jazzy while Ayo brought DJ Abbas into the mix. According to JJC, they connected through a TV station, and he was transparent about needing industry connections.
JJC stated that he collaborated with Don Jazzy on a track, while Dbanj also recorded a song with him. However, he alleges that behind the scenes, the group was scheming.
He learned from Ruggedman that false rumors were being spread—accusing him of withholding payments and unfair dealings—despite his generosity towards them.
JJC vehemently denied these claims, emphasizing that he supported them financially and professionally before they achieved fame.
“How could I possibly cheat them when they hadn’t even started earning?” he questioned, pointing out that he was the one offering them exposure early in their careers.
“Don Jazzy, Dbanj, Ayo, DJ Abass—they all ganged up against me.”
