Nollywood star Motilola Akinlami has reconciled with filmmaker Kunle Afod, closing the chapter on their long-standing rift that once rocked the industry.
The dispute escalated earlier this year when Motilola publicly accused Afod of sabotaging her career opportunities following their romantic split due to his wife’s concerns.
In a candid discussion with colleague Tony Montana, the actress revealed their six-year feud had finally ended, crediting mediation efforts from industry veterans.
“That situation hurt me deeply,” she admitted, thanking Femi Adebayo and Bayo Tijani for facilitating peace.
“To reach a point where I needed to voice my pain publicly regrettably was painful. But through God’s grace and colleagues’ intervention, especially Femi Adebayo’s diplomatic approach, we’ve settled our differences.
“I’m grateful to my senior colleagues who stepped in. The matter between Kunle and I is now resolved positively,” the actress concluded.
