Nigerian social media sensation Michelle Mukoro, widely recognized as King Mitchy, has been confirmed alive after her management retracted an earlier statement falsely announcing her passing.
In a recent update, her team reassured fans, stating, “Michelle is now stable and recovering.”
The confusion arose amid a fiery online feud between Mitchy and activist VeryDarkMan, who questioned the legitimacy of her philanthropic initiatives.
Mitchy had recently claimed to have refurbished a school in just six days, challenging VeryDarkMan’s transparency in handling public donations since 2025.
The conflict intensified when VeryDarkMan insinuated that Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, was financially backing Mitchy’s projects.
Amid the feud, Mitchy lost access to her business Instagram account, and a distressing live video surfaced showing her ingesting what appeared to be a bleach-based cleaner.
Her management initially declared she had passed away at Prime Care Hospital in Abuja, citing failed resuscitation attempts and requesting privacy for her family.
However, Prime Care Hospital denied these claims, clarifying that Mitchy was never admitted and threatening legal action against those spreading misinformation.
