“Society loves shaming women for having standards,” she declared.

“Men flood podcasts with rants about women chasing money, yet they’re the ones shamelessly marrying into generational wealth.”

She emphasized that men frequently engage in strategic marriages without facing the same backlash.

“They walk into wealth with zero hesitation—no guilt, no judgment,” she added.

Makinwa, however, clarified that she doesn’t resent such choices, acknowledging financial pragmatism as a longstanding marital consideration.
