Public figure Chude Jideonwo sparked conversations when he asserted that numerous married individuals in Lagos State identify as gay.

His comments came in response to widespread speculation about his own sexuality following a revealing TVC interview.

During a segment on The Clarity Zone Podcast, he also highlighted concerns about the proliferation of ritualistic advertisements across social media platforms.

Expressing alarm over public engagement with these ads, Chude shared his firsthand observations.

“People are advertising rituals on TikTok—openly. I’ve encountered three different ads for native medicine, and the engagement is shocking. One woman was even broadcasting live from what appeared to be her shrine. Users were asking, ‘Mama, how can I reach you?’ and sharing contact details.

“After my TVC interview aired, many speculated about my sexuality, suggesting I might be gay. But the reality is, Lagos has a substantial number of married men who are gay,” Chude revealed.
