Manchester United has unveiled Eva Olid as the new head coach of its Women’s team, marking a pivotal moment for the club’s evolving women’s football ambitions. The official announcement was released on Wednesday through the club’s digital platforms.
Olid, 40, has inked a four-year deal running until June 2028, with an optional 12-month extension included in the contract. She steps into the role following the departure of Marc Skinner earlier this week.
United described the move as a cornerstone in their long-term vision, emphasizing Olid’s appointment as a strategic step toward elevating the women’s squad to new heights in domestic and European competitions.
