Enzo Maresca, the former Chelsea and Leicester City boss, has officially taken the reins as Manchester City’s new head coach, securing a three-year deal with the Premier League giants.
Maresca steps into the shoes of Pep Guardiola, whose tenure concluded with a narrow 2-1 loss to Aston Villa in his final Premier League match.
According to renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Maresca has committed to a long-term contract extending until June 2029 and will play a pivotal role in defining the club’s transfer strategy moving forward.
After leaving Chelsea earlier this year, Maresca remained unattached, reportedly rejecting multiple managerial offers in anticipation of securing the Manchester City role.
