Noni Madueke has completed his transfer to Arsenal from Chelsea in a £52 million deal, marking a significant move in the summer window.

Reports indicate the initial fee is set at £48.5 million, with an extra £3.5 million tied to performance-based incentives.

The 23-year-old winger has signed a five-year contract with the Gunners, joining Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, and Christian Norgaard as the club’s latest summer signings.

With seven England appearances, Madueke excels on the right wing but is equally adept on the left, offering versatility to Arsenal’s attack.

Arsenal see him as a crucial reinforcement to bolster their attacking options and elevate the squad’s overall quality.

His switch continues the recent trend of players moving between the two London clubs, following in the footsteps of Kepa, Raheem Sterling, Kai Havertz, Jorginho, Willian, and David Luiz.

Madueke netted 20 goals in 92 matches for Chelsea after his £29 million move from PSV Eindhoven in 2023, playing a pivotal role in their UEFA Conference League and Club World Cup successes.

“I’ve spoken to Declan Rice, Myles, Bukayo, even Jurrien as well,” Madueke shared. “They all speak highly of the club’s culture, its warmth, and the family-like environment.”

He added: “Winning every trophy we’re competing for is definitely within our reach.”

His exit coincides with Chelsea’s recent attacking reinforcements, including Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, and Jamie Gittens from Ipswich Town, Brighton, and Borussia Dortmund.
