Yinka Theisen, former fiancée of actor Linc Edochie, has finally revealed the real reason their relationship fell apart—and it wasn’t due to a lack of love.
She disclosed that their breakup stemmed from Linc’s failure to defend her against online bullies, which ultimately shattered their bond.
In a heartfelt social media post last night, Yinka expressed: “Let me make this clear—it wasn’t love that failed us. It was his unwillingness to stand up for me against relentless bullies. That’s why I hold no bitterness toward him, but I agree—every strong woman deserves better.
“Don’t accuse him of exploiting me; he didn’t. Behind closed doors, there were battles none of you witnessed. Our chapter is closed, but labeling him an opportunist is unfair. Mary and her followers weren’t the reason we ended.
“This ordeal revealed truths I needed to see. I’m grateful to God. I’d rather fight than surrender to cruelty. Now, I’m praying for the man God has destined for me—one who meets my non-negotiable standards.
“Sometimes, life redirects us from disaster. My support for Ezedike and Judy stands firm, independent of Linc. Unless you’ve walked in their shoes, you can’t understand true advocacy. Again, I say, ‘Thank you, Jesus.’ Linc was merely a stepping stone to my purpose. My loyalty to this incredible couple remains unshakable—so help me God!”
