Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman, has earned a nomination for Atalanta’s Goal of the Season.
Two of his strikes—one in La Dea’s 3-2 loss to Real Madrid and another in their 5-0 demolition of Empoli—were shortlisted for the honor.
The 27-year-old expertly beat Thibaut Courtois with a powerful shot to score Atalanta’s second goal against Real Madrid.
His second nominated goal was a clinical finish during a Serie A match against Empoli.
After receiving a brilliant pass from Mateo Retegui, the ex-Leicester City star rounded the goalkeeper and calmly tapped the ball into the open net.
Lookman was awarded Man of the Match in both fixtures.
The Nigerian international enjoyed a stellar season with Atalanta, netting 22 goals and providing five assists in 46 appearances across all competitions.
