Charly Boy admitted that while many assume his marriage thrives on effortless love, the reality involves constant effort and resilience.
He confessed there are moments when exhaustion sets in, but his unwavering commitment keeps him going, stating they’ve made a pact to “die together in this journey.”
He wrote, “When people see my wife and me after 46 years, they assume we’re drowning in endless love. But let me tell you—it’s not that simple. Some say, ‘Marry your best friend,’ while others admire our long-lasting bond, wishing for the same.
“Let’s be real—no marriage is heaven-sent. Lasting unions demand sweat, dedication, and daily nurturing right here on Earth. Marriage isn’t a flawless gem handed to you; it’s delicate, prone to cracks, and built brick by brick.
“Don’t get it twisted—we face storms too. I’ve become a master at managing the highs and lows. Even when I’m drained, I push forward. Why? Because we’ve vowed to see this through till the end. Honestly? Sometimes, it’s the relentless effort that gets to me.”
