Nollywood star Lizzy Anjorin has finally broken her silence regarding circulating reports of her recent detention over alleged defamation charges.
Speculations arose when social media buzzed with claims of the actress’s apprehension, allegedly initiated through petitions filed by her industry colleagues Toyin Abraham, Iyabo Ojo, and Dayo Amusa.
The news gained traction after entertainment personality Esabod, a known associate of Iyabo Ojo, made a startling revelation on Instagram.
In a now-deleted post, Esabod claimed: “Lizzy Anjorin currently remains in custody at Alagbon police station, Lagos.
“Her bail conditions will undergo reassessment starting Monday for alleged character defamation.”
Breaking her silence on Sunday evening, the controversial actress took to Instagram with a cryptic warning: “Those who trust Esabod and Iyabo Ojo’s narratives do so at their peril.”
