Speaking at a recent event in Miami, Messi expressed his enthusiasm for basketball, tennis, and padel, highlighting his growing interest in American sports culture.

“I’ve always been a fan of multiple sports. Moving to Miami deepened my appreciation for basketball, tennis, and padel, which I’ve followed for years,” Messi stated (via TouchlineX).

“American football was new to me—I only watched the Super Bowl before—but now I keep up with the NFL season regularly.”

“My kids play American football at school, and that’s how I got more into it. Now I follow the games closely and enjoy learning the nuances.”
