Renowned media influencer Kolu has publicly reached out to fellow content creator Carter Efe, seeking financial assistance of ₦7 million to facilitate the release of controversial singer Portable from detention.

The emotional appeal occurred during a live Twitch session between the two personalities on Thursday.

When questioned about his deep involvement in the matter, Kolu revealed that Portable played a pivotal role in launching his career by bringing him to Lagos and creating opportunities for his fame to flourish.

Speaking passionately in Pidgin, Kolu stated: “Portable na my helper. Him carry me come Lagos, make I blow. Na him open door for me.”

This development follows Portable’s recent incarceration after being arraigned at the Federal High Court in Ota, Ogun State, facing charges of vehicle theft and alleged assault filed by his ex-partner Ashabi Simple.
