Renowned Nigerian Afrobeat star Kizz Daniel, born Daniel Anidugbe, has revealed plans to step back from the studio for a while to prioritize his personal life.

The chart-topping artist hinted that family time will take center stage as he temporarily slows down his relentless music production.

The announcement came after a fan pointed out his recent flood of releases on social media.

“With over 600 unreleased tracks still in the vault, retirement isn’t on the table yet,” Kizz playfully responded, suggesting he’s far from done with music despite the break.

In a more reflective tone, the ‘Buga’ crooner shared his decision to rebalance his life, admitting his family had called him out for sacrificing quality time for studio sessions.

“Studio mic is on mute for now – it’s time to live life right,” he tweeted, adding humorously, “When your own people accuse you of choosing beats over breakfast, you know it’s time for change.”
