In a heart-wrenching post on Instagram, she shared that her sister, Adepero, tragically left this world on June 6, 2025.

Her emotional tribute read:

“IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING?! MY DEAR ADEPERO IS GONE!!

How can this be? The pain is unbearable! Adepero, why did you leave me like this? Only God understands, and I surrender it all to Him. The Almighty’s ways are beyond our understanding… but right now, none of this makes sense to me! You were snatched away far too soon. My heart shattered into pieces when your husband broke the news—’Kiekie, your sister is gone.’ The agony is indescribable. Modaran!!!

Adepero, how do I move forward without you? No words can capture the void your absence has left. Your love was one of a kind—irreplaceable. Who will call me ‘my lover’ or ‘sister girl’ with that warmth only you possessed? Becoming a godmother to your firstborn was an honor, but I never imagined I’d have to step into your shoes as his guardian.
