Nollywood superstar Iyabo Ojo has fired back at Tanzanian activist Mange Kimambi in a fiery clapback, standing up for her daughter Priscilla and son-in-law Juma after they faced backlash online.
Kimambi had called out the couple for allegedly diverting attention from Tanzania’s political turmoil, dismissing their social media presence as “pointless” and demanding they keep a low profile.
But Iyabo wasn’t having it.
In a scorching Instagram response, the actress threw down the gauntlet: “@mangekimambi80
Your arrogance is shocking! To drag my child and her husband like this, mocking their posts and trying to bully them—absolutely not. As her mother, I raised her to stand tall in her truth. The Ojos are peaceful, but cross my daughter and you’ll see another side.
About these wedding rumors? Tanzania’s government didn’t fund a thing—it’s our family’s tradition for the bride’s side to handle expenses. We Nigerians gave her the celebration she deserved.
I know activism—real leaders don’t hide behind screens in America while attacking others. My daughter and her husband are living their lives in Tanzania. If you’re so passionate, be present where it matters.
Stay out of her business. She’ll share what she wants, when she wants. Your approval means nothing—she’s adored exactly as she is.
Remember this: we don’t play when it comes to family.”
The online feud has since exploded, with fans passionately debating both sides.
