The widow of the late actor Junior Pope, Jennifer Odonwodo, recently shared a humorous note he once wrote to borrow money from her during his lifetime.
She recounted how they formalized their financial dealings with signed contracts, ensuring clarity on repayment terms.
Jennifer posted the note alongside a heartfelt caption:
“While sorting through old photos, I stumbled upon this…It instantly brightened my day.
JP and I took lending seriously—we drafted agreements with precise dates, times, and repayment amounts.
We even photographed the documents as backup in case they were misplaced, damaged, or conveniently ‘lost’ by the borrower.
Let’s be honest—when you lend money to a spouse, sibling, or close relative, there’s a high probability it’s never coming back.
Do you lend money to your partner or family, or do you consider it a gift?
Share your thoughts!”
