Jason Derulo is speaking out about the ongoing legal battle involving allegations of s*xual harassment that have impacted his career for years.
In a candid conversation with Graham Bensinger, the chart-topping artist opened up about the prolonged case and shared the strict personal policy he’s adopted in its aftermath.
The interview comes as the lawsuit, originally filed by singer Emaza Dilan and dismissed in California and Nevada, has been revived in New York courts.
Despite previous dismissals, Derulo claims the accusations have led to significant professional setbacks, forcing him to rethink his interactions in the workplace.
Reflecting on the ordeal, he stated: “I’ll never collaborate with women alone again. No closed-door meetings—ever. The case was thrown out twice, yet I lost endorsements and partnerships over baseless claims. Why wasn’t the dismissal reported as loudly as the allegations?”
He also dismissed one of the more sensational accusations, calling it “absurd” and “completely fabricated.”
As the legal battle resumes in New York, Derulo admits that defending himself publicly feels like a no-win situation, saying, “There’s no right way to respond.”
