Germany’s rising football sensation Jamal Musiala has taken to social media to address growing concerns over his recent on-pitch medical incidents.
The Bayern Munich midfielder was substituted during their preseason clash against Heidenheim, despite the Bavarians securing a 4-2 victory.
Musiala revealed he’s been managing a neurological issue that occasionally impacts his focus and spatial awareness, though he emphasized it poses no long-term threat.
“The medical team has been phenomenal,” Musiala stated. “This condition isn’t career-threatening, and I’ve made the personal choice to keep competing at the highest level.”
Supporters flooded his post with well-wishes as the 21-year-old expressed gratitude while reaffirming his commitment to Bayern’s upcoming campaign.
The friendly saw goals from academy talents Arijon Ibrahimović and Nathaniel Brown, alongside contributions from Felipe Chávez and Luis Díaz.
