Social media personality Izzy Ogbeide has slammed controversial activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely recognized as Verydarkman, over his recent clash with reality star Phyna.
Izzy condemned VDM for his handling of the feud involving Phyna during her sister’s assistant, accusing him of insensitivity.
Earlier, Verydarkman had alleged betrayal by Phyna while she was preoccupied with her sister’s critical health condition.
Following the passing of Ruth, Izzy blamed Verydarkman for inciting public backlash against Phyna, claiming he weaponized the situation.
Izzy stated:
“The hospital repeatedly reached out, but she was heavily sedated from the drip. Verydarkman, focus on meaningful change—go shut down Dangote Road in Edo if you’re serious. You claim justice yet strip sympathy from grieving families. Phyna became a target of public hate because of your reckless words, labeling a distressed woman a traitor.
“She reached out for support, not a battlefield. Instead of standing by her, you made it about your ego—front-man syndrome at its worst. You ignored the bigger picture, the human cost.
“Rather than letting tensions cool or staying silent, you blasted ‘Phyna betrayed me,’ sparking chaos online. Now see the tragic outcome. Shame on you. Since she’s gone, let them bring her to your doorstep,” she fired.
