Renowned Nigerian comedian AY Makun did not mince words as he slammed the Super Eagles for their shocking failure to secure a World Cup spot.
In an emotional outburst, the entertainer condemned the national team, accusing them of letting down millions of loyal supporters.
“Disgraceful. Absolute disgrace. Even with all the backing, the referees, everything—una still fail? Total shame,” he fumed.
Makun emphasized that the squad’s performance confirmed his long-held belief: “Without Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles are nothing.”
“When I praised Osimhen before, critics came at me. Now look—the moment he stepped off, everything fell apart. The difference was glaring,” he added.
Mockingly urging the players to return to their clubs, AY repeatedly labeled Nigeria’s loss as an unforgivable embarrassment.
