Nollywood actress Ini Edo recently shared her unwavering dedication to her latest project, A Very Dirty December, admitting she sacrificed personal time to bring her creative vision to life.
In a candid Instagram update, Edo reflected on the challenges of her ambitious filmmaking journey, stating, “Some might call it stubborn, but I’ve always trusted my instincts—even when logic said otherwise.”
The screen star praised her creative collaborators—including Yfalaye, Becca Ashang, and veteran actress Eucharia Anunobi—for their tireless efforts in delivering the project against tight deadlines.
“This wasn’t just another film for us,” Edo explained. “We poured everything into this—missed holidays, sleepless nights—but the lessons we’ve learned are priceless.”
Edo didn’t hesitate to applaud fellow industry leaders Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham, whose recent box office successes have redefined Nollywood standards. “What these queens are achieving? Absolute game-changing energy,” she remarked.
The actress specifically highlighted their innovative promotional strategies: “Their marketing genius and next-level execution—that’s the benchmark right there. Total respect.”
