Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State and Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, graced the prestigious Ojude Oba festival in Ijebu-Ode, joining a colorful array of dignitaries in celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Ijebu people.

The annual event dazzled with a spectacular parade of exquisitely attired attendees, adorned in brilliantly colored agbadas, intricately wrapped geles, and handcrafted beadwork, transforming the venue into a vibrant tapestry of tradition.

Marking its significance in Nigeriaโ€™s cultural calendar, the Ojude Oba festival unfolds annually three days after Eid-el-Kabir, attracting high-profile guests, business leaders, entertainers, and Nigerians from across the globe who gather to pay homage to Ijebuโ€™s royal legacy.

This yearโ€™s celebration took on special poignancy as it proceeded without the revered presence of the late Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, whose six-decade reign ended with his passing in July of the previous year.
