Brazilian superstar Neymar has expressed his frustration after being omitted from Carlo Ancelotti’s squad for the upcoming international friendlies against France and Croatia.
The Santos forward, who has been working his way back to full fitness, was noticeably absent from Ancelotti’s roster announcement earlier this week.
The Italian tactician cited Neymar’s incomplete physical recovery as the primary reason for his exclusion, stating the forward isn’t yet at peak condition.
Speaking at an event in São Paulo, an emotional Neymar shared his disappointment with reporters.
“It hurts not to be selected,” the former PSG and Barcelona star admitted. “But I’ll keep pushing—training harder, playing better. Our objective remains unchanged.”
“There’s still one more selection ahead,” he added with determination. “The dream isn’t over. We’re all fighting for this together.”
