Ex-Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo has revealed his preference for Victor Osimhen’s proposed transfer to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal over Galatasaray.
Napoli received a staggering €70 million bid from Al-Hilal for Osimhen’s services during the summer transfer window, sparking widespread speculation.
Despite the lucrative offer, the prolific striker opted for a switch to Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray, cementing their attacking lineup.
In an interview with Winwin, Igh appreciation for Osimhen’s career choice while expressing his personal wish:
“Personally, I would’ve loved to see him at Al-Hilal, but Galatasaray is a massive club with Champions League pedigree and a winning culture.
“There’s still time—if not now, he could always make the move to Saudi Arabia after achieving success in Turkey.”
