Renowned Hollywood actor Idris Elba has declared Lagos, Nigeria, as “the most extraordinary city on the planet.”
He praised Lagos for its dynamic atmosphere and abundance of artistic brilliance.
Elba shared his admiration during his speech at the prestigious TIFF Tribute Awards.
Reflecting on his time in Lagos, Elba recounted filming *Dust to Dreams* alongside Seal, who embraced his Nigerian roots by performing with a local accent for the first time.
“If you haven’t visited Lagos yet, you’re missing out—it’s truly unparalleled. The energy is electric, and the talent is boundless,” he enthused.
