Awoniyi made it clear—personal jabs don’t faze him, but disrespect toward Tems, Omah Lay, or Lekan? That’s a line you don’t want to cross.

Muyiwa Awoniyi, the powerhouse manager behind Nigeria’s music sensations Tems, Omah Lay, and Lekan, has a firm message for critics.

In a no-nonsense stance, he declared that disrespect toward his artists won’t be tolerated—period.

He dropped the warning in a fiery post on X (formerly Twitter), leaving no room for misinterpretation.

Awoniyi shrugged off personal attacks but drew a hard line when it comes to his artists: “Come for Temi, Stanley, or Lekan, and we’ll have a serious issue.”

“I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again. Throw insults at me? Fine. But target Tems, Omah Lay, or Lekan? That’s where it ends. Catch you later,” he fired off.

The warning comes amid relentless online trolling directed at Tems, with critics shamelessly body-shaming her over her appearance.
