Former football star Emmanuel Eboué opened up about the emotional pain he endures while being separated from his children, describing it as an ongoing heartbreak.

“Every single day, I pray for them,” Eboué admitted. “I have two daughters, and my greatest wish is to reunite with them someday.” Despite having opportunities to travel abroad, he chose to wait at home, hoping for reconciliation. “I’d rather stay here than go to England—just in case they reach out.”

The ex-Arsenal defender revealed he hasn’t seen his kids in years and lacks updated photos of them. “The only pictures I have are from their childhood,” he shared, explaining that their mother has refused to share recent images. To catch glimpses of his children, he relies on friends and former teammates. “Sometimes they check social media and send me photos.”

Despite numerous attempts to reconnect, his efforts remain unanswered. “They read my messages, but never reply,” Eboué disclosed. “Last month was Eva’s birthday—I called, texted, but got no response.” Missing these milestones, he confessed, only deepens his sorrow.

Although he has rebuilt much of his life, Eboué acknowledged that the absence of his children remains his deepest wound. “I have stability now, but not my kids—that’s the hardest part.”
