Kylian Mbappe

French skipper Kylian Mbappé stated on Saturday that he harbors no resentment towards Paris Saint-Germain after their Champions League triumph, despite his recent transfer to Real Madrid.

“My departure wasn’t premature; my chapter with PSG had concluded. There’s no bitterness—I had simply reached the end of my journey there,” Mbappé remarked during a press briefing ahead of France’s Nations League clash with Germany.

PSG dominated Inter Milan 5-0 last weekend in Munich, securing their maiden Champions League title.

“I gave my all, but fate had other plans—they achieved it without me,” said Mbappé.

“Their victory doesn’t weigh on me. I was genuinely pleased for them—they earned it.”

“They endured years of setbacks. I experienced that too, competing in every Champions League phase with PSG except the ultimate triumph.”

“Now, they stand as Europe’s finest.”

“A 5-0 victory in such a high-stakes final is truly historic.”
