Renowned fashion designer Veekee James has unveiled a heartfelt chapter of her life story.
She emphasized how divine favor has shaped her path to success.
During her appearance on The Nancy Isime Show, Veekee pledged to always honor her roots.
The designer disclosed she was raised in Ajegunle and lost her father at just five years old.
“I chose to share my background publicly after the reaction to that social media post with my husband,”
“People criticized us online, saying things like, ‘You spent years building this luxury brand only to ruin it with that tasteless content,'” she revealed.
She explained how the negative feedback reinforced her journey’s significance.
“It made me realize my success isn’t by human effort alone. Without God’s intervention, I wouldn’t be here today. A fatherless girl from Ajegunle had to fight her way up.”
“We all have beginnings we can’t erase. I won’t pretend to be someone I’m not just to meet society’s standards. Staying true to myself is why I stand out as Veekee James,” she declared.
