The fashion entrepreneur nostalgically recalled when birthday party favors primarily featured playthings and learning materials for kids.
“There’s been a noticeable shift from fun gifts to basic food supplies,” Grace observed, commenting on current party pack trends she finds puzzling.
“Contemporary party packs resemble relief materials more than celebratory gifts for children,” she remarked with bemusement.
Her Instagram post queried: “When did party packs transform into mini food banks? Where are the toys and educational items that spark children’s imagination?”
Listing modern inclusions, she noted: “Instant noodles, staple foods, beverages, seasoning cubes – items more suited to grocery lists than birthday celebrations.”
She humorously concluded: “Apparently I’ve been living under a rock – when was this change officially announced? Someone please brief me on when children started preferring pantry items over playthings!”
