Financial advisor Gehgeh has dismissed rumors of his marriage after his widely shared wedding photos caused an online stir, with many questioning the conspicuous absence of family and close associates.
During a podcast discussion, Gehgeh was pressed for answers regarding missing attendees, including his older brother, sister, close friends, and prominent figure Brother Mike.
The host highlighted that Brother Mike stated he never received an invitation, while Gehgeh’s sister allegedly claimed she was left out of the wedding planning entirely.
Gehgeh confirmed the absences, noting that despite wearing Yoruba traditional attire as an Urhobo man, neither his older brother nor his close circle attended—further calling the event a “publicity stunt.”
The conversation also touched on TikToker Carterefe’s reported reaction, especially since Gehgeh had previously counseled him against his relationship.
Unfazed by the backlash, Gehgeh dismissed the online frenzy, stating that social media users often latch onto trending topics without full context.
He added that viral stories invite snap judgments, with audiences interpreting events based on preconceived narratives rather than facts.
