A devoted Galatasaray supporter named Hussein made a special appearance at the Sardienne Complex in Fès, Morocco, on Monday to cheer on Victor Osimhen during the Super Eagles’ training session.
Nigeria’s national team resumed preparations on Monday following a day off after their thrilling 3-2 triumph over Tunisia’s Carthage Eagles.
Hussein arrived at the training ground waving a Galatasaray flag, showing his admiration for Osimhen, who was met with warmth by both teammates and coaching staff.
This isn’t the first time fans have gone out of their way to support the Napoli forward—during the previous AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire, Napoli supporters visited the team’s hotel to rally behind the striker.
Osimhen has already made his mark in the tournament, netting once and setting up another goal in the Eagles’ opening two matches.
Reports suggest the 27-year-old may be rested for tonight’s encounter against Uganda’s Cranes.
