
Lady Gaga dominated the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, securing four coveted “Moon Person” trophies in a star-studded ceremony hosted by rap legend LL Cool J at New York’s UBS Arena on September 8.
Ariana Grande’s cinematic masterpiece “Brighter Days Ahead” claimed the night’s top honor for Video of the Year, marking one of her three wins during the explosive evening.
Rising pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter made waves by scoring Album of the Year for her critically acclaimed “Short n’ Sweet,” rounding out her trio of wins with additional honors.
The awards showcase featured electrifying moments including Rosé and Bruno Mars taking Song of the Year for “APT.,” while KATSEYE’s explosive performance of “Touch” earned them MTV Push Performance of the Year.
Legendary artists received special recognition: Mariah Carey was honored with the Video Vanguard Award, Busta Rhymes with the Rock the Bells Visionary Award, and Ricky Martin made history as the first Latin Icon Award recipient.
