Fulham will not retain Nigerian forward Samuel Chukwueze permanently, as the Premier League side has opted against triggering the buy clause in his loan agreement, sending the 27-year-old back to AC Milan.

Chukwueze arrived at Craven Cottage last summer on a temporary deal from the Serie A outfit, managing three goals and four assists across the season.

Despite his contributions, Fulham have decided against making the move permanent, leaving the winger’s future uncertain.

Reports from Italian media confirm Chukwueze will reunite with Milan after his loan stint concludes, marking a return to the club where he faced struggles before his England switch.
